inFLUX Labs ("inFLUX," "we," "us") operates the inFLUX player portal, staff broadcast tools, and the live network map at influxlabs.org. This policy explains what information we collect through these tools and how it's used.
When you use the inFLUX player portal, you may voluntarily provide:
We do not collect precise GPS location, and we do not access your contacts, photos, or other apps on your device.
Attendance signals (coming/arrived activity) are automatically deleted at the end of each day. Profile information (display name, phone number, preferences) is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device and is not retained on our servers beyond what's needed to operate same-day signaling and notifications.
If you provide a phone number, you consent to receive text messages related to game status and player arrivals at the station(s) you've signaled interest in. Message frequency varies based on activity at that station. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for support.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use the following third-party services to operate inFLUX, each of which processes limited data on our behalf under their own privacy terms: Twilio (SMS delivery), Cloudinary (station photo storage), MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), Mapbox (map rendering), and Render and Netlify (application hosting).
You can clear your locally stored profile at any time by clearing your browser's site data for the inFLUX player portal. To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any inFLUX message, or simply remove your phone number from your profile.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the inFLUX Labs team via the contact form at influxlabs.org.
inFLUX Labs provides tools to help organize and discover community pickup soccer sessions in Atlanta, including a live network map, a player signaling portal, and staff broadcast tools. These tools are provided as-is to support community organizing and are offered free of charge to players.
Use of the platform is limited to coordinating and participating in community soccer sessions. Do not use the portal to harass other users, submit false attendance signals, or attempt to disrupt the service.
inFLUX is a community project under active development. Station status, schedules, and player counts are self-reported by players and staff and may not always be accurate or up to date. We don't guarantee the availability, accuracy, or safety of any session listed or signaled through the platform. Participation in pickup soccer sessions is voluntary and at your own risk.
We may update these terms and our privacy practices as the platform evolves. Continued use of inFLUX after changes are posted here constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
